My Bio
I believe that the little things in life bring you the biggest joys. Like finding a rainbow before a storm, or listening to the waves on a deserted beach, or walking in the rain. I channel my thoughts into my work, and I love creating new things. Sometimes the mundane necessity of everyday life takes me away from doing the things I love, but I always eagerly await the chance to return to my world of colours.

And that I have the same confidence with my brushstrokes, but perhaps never with the same amount of patience as I was always rushed to finish my paintings for group exhibitions. I exhaled slowly with the realisation... that she was younger than me, that she was now married, that she had a price tag of $12,000 on an oil. I admit I always feel encouraged and deflated at the same time, visiting galleries. And the gnawing feeling in t

Sometimes a lifetime of heartbeats cannot prepare you for the next step you take. The next breath that you hold on to could be the one that you have to let go of... the one thing that stops you from moving forward. We all have pictures in our head... and we refuse to accept the coldness of reality until it drowns you like rain... and all your pictures wash away like chalk drawings on a sidewalk. How do you stop the tears through the smiles, when someone tells you that you are worth the world? How do you feel worthy?

Dancing Hearts

0 min read
I remember how dancing always lifted me up, no matter how downtrodden my days were. Tonight, I thought I'd take a chance and tentatively reach out for a world I left behind a year ago. I smiled and laughed so much, stumbling on toes, knocking heads, tangling arms... feeling my spirit soar high in a kaleidescope of disco ball lights shimmering in the darkness, the rhythm of the latin beats pumping in sync with the blood that runs through my veins. I remember when it used to be you. I understand now that our hearts never danced to the same tune, even if our feet were synchronized like clockwork. We yearned for dreams that were similar on the
